Rain Fest 2016 lineup The final installment of Rain Fest will take place on May 27, 28, and 29 at Neumos in Seattle, WA. The festival lineup can be found below. Organizers have issued this statement:
"Rain Fest is coming to an end. We have truly loved putting together this festival for our community over the last 10 years and sincerely thank you for all the support you've given us. We have accomplished more than we ever dreamed possible with Rain Fest and want to go out on top of our game. Thank you to every band who has played and every person who has attended. Major thank you to those individuals who volunteered their time and effort year after year because without them this thing would have crumbled long ago. And to Neumos venue and staff, we love you and couldn't have continued without you either. The security and sound techs work massive hours just so all of us can get crazy for 3 days a year. Thank you, see you in May."

2016 and people still don't understand why you cannot make a career out of playing or booking hardcore. Transient/obscure bands that come and go, countless bullshit at shows, the old picking on the young, beef between promoters and venues, lack of funding on all levels ... but all for the art of staying true till death, right? Crew up.

Terrible lineup. Like at least in 2013 they got 100 Demons, Comeback Kid(Turn It Around anniversary), Death Threat, Shook Ones, Sinking Ships(reunion), and Stop At Nothing's reunion. Then in 2014 they had The Banner, Modern Life is War, Down to Nothing, Converge, and Andrew W.K. 2015 was worse though.
