Southern California melodic hardcore band Capsize were the victims of theft yesterday morning, just as the band was kicking off a U.S. run with Silverstein and Senses Fail. The robbery took place outside the band's hotel near Dayton, Ohio. Here is the official word:

"This morning we woke up to a call from the front office of our hotel that police were at our van and we had been robbed. We walked outside to find our trailer door open and all guitars, amps, cymbals, drum hardware, pedal boards, and some merch had all been stolen. Extensive police reports have been filed and we've done all we can in the ground work to trying to recover from this. Although this is the worst thing to ever happen to us, we are not going to let it slow us down and we are not going to cancel any shows of our upcoming tour with Silverstein, Senses Fail & Hundredth. If you feel like helping us out we've set up some donation links here."

You can find a list of the gear taken below.
