For Today Wake sales chart Billboard Soundscan

Wake, the new album from Christian metalcore band For Today has debuted at No. 67 on the Billboard 200 after selling roughly 7,000 copies in its first week of release in the United States.

This represents the band's worst chart and sales debut since 2009 release, Portraits, which failed to appear on the Billboard 200 and sold 2,500 copies in its first week.

In 2010, For Today hit the Billboard 200 for the first time, when their Breaker album landed at No. 54 on the Billboard 200 on the strength of 7,400 in first week sales.

The band peaked commercially in 2012 with Immortal, which sold 14,700 in its initial week, good enough for a No. 15 showing on the Billboard 200. Meanwhile, that album hit No. 1 on both the Hard Rock Albums and the Top Christian Albums charts. By comparison, Wake debuted at No. 10 and No. 3 on those same charts, respectively.

For Today's most recent album, Fight The Silence (2014), debuted at No. 32 on the Billboard 200, with first-week sales of roughly 10,500.
