As you likely know by now, reactivated band
Atreyu will soon release their first new full-length since 2009. Thus far details have been scant, though Atreyu has now confirmed that the album, titled
Long Live, will hit streets on September 18 through
Search and Destroy via
Spinefarm Records. Pre-orders commence on July 17. Additionally, Atreyu unveiled a 15 second teaser last week, which you can check out below.
Expectations are high for Atreyu's return. Some oddsmakers estimate that
Long Live will be metal's top grossing album of 2015, with a
prediction of 8/1 odds, just behind forthcoming albums from such bands as Slayer, Marilyn Manson, and All That Remains, according to Sports Betting Dime.
In case you missed it! Long Live. The new album. Album out September 18th. Pre-orders available July 17th.#atreyu #longlive #metal #SearchandDestroy #Spinefarmrecords

In case you've yet to read it,
Alternative Press conducted an informative interview with Atreyu frontman Alex Varkatzas while the band was in the studio recording
Long Live. In addition to explaining why the band took such a lengthy break, Varkatzas emphasized that his vocals will be on the heavier side: " It's just me screaming and yelling and fucking being aggressive."
In related news, rock band
Hell of Highwater, featuring Atreyu drummer/vocalist Brandon Saller on vocals, has just launched a music video for their new single "I'll Be Waiting." You can check that out
