Wolves At The Gate seek monetary help after theft

Ohio metal/post-hardcore band Wolves At The Gates were victims of theft in California during their last tour. Insurance coverage is not what the band had expected, and they're now hoping that fans can assist via Gofundme. Here's the official word:
"We had an unfortunate event happen to us on our last tour. About an hour before our show in San Fransico, Steve came back to the van to find our window had been smashed in and had all of our personal belongings stolen (laptops, backpacks, hard drives, books, etc). This set us back quite a bit as our band laptop was stolen as well, which had valuable information on it. We thought that our insurance would cover the losses but we recently came to find out that we would not be covered at all. Many of you have been quite supportive over the years and have asked how you can help us out. We have no expectation of getting back what was lost, but were so thankful that many wanted to help. In appreciation for anyone who is willing to help, every donation that is $20 or more we will be sending you a limited edition t-shirt as a 'thank you' for your support. We are blessed to have such supportive and encouraging fans/friends/family."

"We had an unfortunate event happen to us on our last tour. About an hour before our show in San Fransico, Doug came back to the van to find our window had been smashed in and had all of our personal belongings stolen". is what it should have said

There's no doubt in my mind that bands are starting to do this on purpose.

So they stupidity leave a van unattended and they expect their fans to pay for their stupidity???

Hi guys. I am now doing tour van security for hire. For only $3,500 a month, I will sit in your van 23 hours a day armed with a shotgun, ensuring your valuables will not be stolen while you are away. I will need one hour a day to handle personal matters and get some chow at Honker Burger.

6300$ already.. JEZUZ...

What a joke. It is one thing when a band has all of their equipment stolen. That is their lively hood. But books and a laptop? common guys, over $6300 already I guarantee they lost no more the $1500 worth of items. I don't think these guys would be helping you out if you got robbed. Go FUND YOURSELVES!

I thought the Wolves were in the Throne Room? Now they're At the Gates?
