Things are looking bleak when it comes to the future of Santa Cruz, California deathcore/experimental metal band Arsonists Get All The Girls.
The band has been relatively inactive since last summer, when they dropped off a tour due to problems with their touring vehicle. It was around that time that bassist Kyle Stacher announced his departure from the group.
Fast forward nine months and drummer Garin Rosen may have put the nail in the band's proverbial coffin yesterday. Rosen is a founding member of AGATG, and their last remaining original member. Here's what he had to say:
"It usually gets easier over a period of time to let go for most people. It took me a very long time to just say to myself 'let it go'. Thank you to everyone that supported my band over the passed 10 years. It's now time for me especially to let go and move forward. Thanks for everything!! you have know idea how much I care about your support throughout my teenage/adulthood years of my life that I sacrificed. I'm happy for the first time in several years. With that I want to thank all of our fans, friends and family that supported us/me through this roller coaster we call life."
We're not sure what that means exactly for AGATG, but with neither a record deal nor any original members, it sure seems like the end.30 Comments
