Give Up The Ghost update

Friday, May 23, 2003 3:38 PM PT

Although it is true that Give Up The Ghost are still together, things are not entirely trouble-free with the band. Following their current tour with Every Time I Die and The Suicide File, which ends on June 8th, the group will be heading home to take a break and regroup. According to the band, "We just need a break. Dealing with the ups and downs that we have had these past few months have really taken a toll." Consequently, they have cancelled their upcoming tour, with The Hope Conspiracy and Black Cross, which includes Orlando Magic Fest and Hellfest. However, the group will return to the road once their new album comes out this summer. Give Up The Ghost's new full-length, tentatively entitled "We're down til we're underground," will hit streets via Equal Vision Records on August 26th (tentative). In the interim, Bridge Nine Records will be releasing the band's "Love American" CD/7" on July 29th.
