Black Sabbath have scrapped their November 22 appearance at Ozzfest Japan, recently purported to be the band's final show. Sabbath has issued the following statement:
"Despite previous reports, Black Sabbath will not appear on this year's Ozzfest Japan, the show will instead feature the festival's namesake, Ozzy Osbourne (and friends)."
Last month it was Ozzy's wife and manager Sharon Osbourne who said, "Ozzfest will be back in Japan on November 21st and 22nd. And this will be Black Sabbath's farewell." No word yet on when said farewell will actually take place.
