Burnt By The Sun finishes recording album
Burnt By The Sun has now finished tracking their next full-length at Trax East studios in New Jersey. The album, entitled "The Perfect is the Enemy of the Good," is currently being mixed by producer Matt Bayles in Seattle. Here's what vocalist Mike Olender told us about the new record: "The album is definitely a step in a different direction, both musically and lyrically. But, it is a development that came naturally to the band and we look at this more of what BBTS is about. Don't worry, it's still heavy as shit, but there's more than just that going on with this record. We, as a band, decided to base the lyrics for this record on our late-night discussions in the van (on tour), which makes this by far the most collective, conceptual record I've ever had the pleasure of working on." Look for the album to hit stores this September via Relapse Records.
