Gojira officially begin recording new album

You may have noticed that on Saturday we assumed (based upon a photo) that Gojira had begun the recording process for their next full-length. Just minutes ago the band confirmed that they have indeed begun the recording process for the effort. Tracking is taking place at Silver Cord, a New York recording studio owned by Gojira's Joe Duplantier and according to the Silver Cord's website, "the studio will serve as the band's headquarters for the next couple of months as they produce their 6th studio album."
