Meshuggah hope to release new album in 2016

In a new studio report courtesy of Swedish drumstick maker Wincent, Meshuggah drummer Tomas Haake spent some time demonstrating a portion of the drum tracking process. Haake and company have been busy preparing material for the next Meshuggah album, their first since Koloss (2012). Since 1991, Meshuggah has released a new studio album every 3-4 years, and it doesn't appear that they'll be deviating from that habit any time soon. Specifically, Haake says the band is currently, "writing for an album that will hopefully be out in 2016." You can check out the aforementioned video below.
