Official press release:

Sweetcore rockers Alesana, are proud to announce the release of Confessions, on April 21 via Revival Recordings.

Confessions marks the conclusion of the lauded and fan-championed 'Annabel Trilogy,' which started in January of 2010 with the release of The Emptiness and was followed by A Place Where The Sun Is Silent in October of 2011. Alesana vocalist Shawn Milke, who took the reins of producer on the album, adds "The 'Annabel Trilogy' is an idea that was born nearly half a decade ago. Confessions is a crowning achievement for us not only in terms of songwriting, but also as storytellers. Despite how tough it will be to say goodbye to Annabel, I simply can not wait for our fans to hear the conclusion." Pre-orders are available now.

The album, recorded at Adelaide Studios in Raleigh, NC, once again teamed Milke with engineer Neil Engle (Dance Gavin Dance, A Skylit Drive, The Funeral Portrait). "Neil and I have been working together since our days on The Emptiness. We have incredible chemistry. To now be producing alongside his genius in our own studio is a dream come true. I could not ask for a more productive and creative situation," adds Milke.
