Prosthetic Records signs Damian Murdoch Trio

Official press release:

Prosthetic Records is excited to announce instrumental "experimental heavy blues rock" outfit Damian Murdoch Trio as the newest addition to its roster. Described as a cross between "Black Sabbath meets Hendrix meets Scott Henderson" (Guitar Mania), the Berlin-based trio combines elements of hard grooving heavy blues and experimental fusion with headbang-inducing, riff-laden heavy rock and roll.

Formed by Australian transplant Damian Murdoch, best known for his work with progressive metal group The Ocean, the trio's current line-up also includes bassist Harry Stöckl and Micheal Posch on drums.

"We're totally excited to be working with Prosthetic," says Murdoch. "We're currently knee-deep in the writing process for our next record, which is shaping up to be quite heavy so far. The plan for this one was to write the dirtiest, filthiest record possible, so we'll see where we end up."
