Though they've been promising a new album for some time now, Michigan metalcore/deathcore outfit Legend is still in the studio recording the effort. Frontman Chad Ruhlig has checked in with the following update:
"I don't doubt its extremely annoying to keep hearing 'more info coming soon' from the Legend page, but it's like this. DL and myself are in the studio tracking and recording the full length. It's AMAZING that so many fans have stuck by us regardless of not releasing any music in 3 years. I tour nonstop with FTFD and when I'm not on tour I'm home writing for both projects. DL also records full time and works 40 hours a week. We are both trying our best to put out a record you guys will love. The only thing I can say or do at this point is promise it's going to be the best material both of us have ever released. If you're a true fan you will understand and hang tight like you have been for years. I love all of the fans I've made over the years and your support does not go unnoticed. But saying 'Fuck this band' or 'I'm going to steal the album now' is some of the most ignorant shit I've ever heard and it isn't going to make the album come out any sooner. Believe it or not we don't control when songs get released, albums drop, and things move quicker. We are doing our part and are in the studio. Don't like it? Go cry on the internet about it. Regardless, thanks for the love and sticking around!"
