Static-X frontman Wayne Static dead at 48

Singer and guitarist Wayne Static, real name Wayne Richard Wells, of Static-X has passed away at the age of 48. Details have yet to be divulged, though some of his associates are intimating that his death was drug related. Wayne Static had been scheduled to co-headline tours with Powerman 5000 and Drowning Pool during the next few months.
