Atreyu to release new album through new label

Universal Music Group imprint Spinefarm Records has teamed up with Search and Destroy Records to launch a new label venture. Among its first releases will be the new Atreyu album. "Search and Destroy is an important part of our growth plan so we are really pleased to have this new agreement in place with Spinefarm," Raw Power Management founder and CEO Craig Jennings told Billboard. "Their enthusiasm for what we are trying to achieve with the label made them the obvious choice for a global partnership and their company philosophy is a great fit with our own." Atreyu's forthcoming album, their first new record in roughly five years, is tentatively slated for a Spring 2015 release.
