Albany, New York death metal band Skinless is currently recording a new album, their first since 2006. Rhythm guitar tracks have been completed and bass recording is underway.

The outing will hit streets in 2015 via Relapse Records.

UPDATE: Relapse Records has revealed the album is being recorded by Tom Case, will be mixed by Dave Otero (Cephalic Carnage), and mastered at Audio Siege Studios. Meanwhile, artwork will be provided by Ken Sarafin.

Tentative song titles include "Serpenticide," "Skinless," and "The Beast Smells Blood."

Guitarist Noah Carpenter commented on the upcoming material:

"Finally, for the first time since 2006, Skinless is in the studio hammering out a new album. We can't wait to get this out to the fans and hear some feedback. These songs have the Skinless heavy groove but we added guitar solos and some different elements to bring it to the next level. The album cover has just been finished and it's easily our best one yet. Lots more info coming in the next few months."
