Dirty Rotten Imbeciles (DRI) set to enter studio

Crossover legends D.R.I. will enter a Southern California studio in October with producer Bill Metoyer (Slayer, Fates Warning) to begin tracking new material, which will likely comprise a new EP to be released in early 2015. The news comes from a new interview with vocalist conducted by BoulevardBrutal.com, in which Brecht offered up the following specifics:
"Although we booked a studio in October in Southern California where we will also tour. So we will take the opportunity to record with producer Bill Metoyer. He worked on our big albums (Crossover, Four Of A Kind, Thrash Zone), also with Slayer and many other big names... We do not really know yet what we will do right, maybe an EP... [it will sound] more punk rock than metal I'd say."
