Periphery begins recording new album

Periphery has officially commenced the recording process for their next album, Juggernaut. Drum tracking began yesterday, presumably at Oceanic Recording in Maryland, with Periphery frontman Spencer Sotelo and engineer Taylor Larson overseeing the process. The band will reportedly track sixteen songs during the sessions and the entire affair is being filmed by director Alex Wohleber (Darkest Hour, Capture The Crown). Hopefully, they will actually write some NEW music instead of dragging up stuff they wrote years ago before Periphery existed. At this point I don't think they can write anymore. It's the only thing that explains the fact that they haven't been able to produce any new music in eons.
