Whitechapel denied entry into Canada; miss shows

Whitechapel were denied entry into Canada yesterday and as such is missing the Canadian portion of their tour with Devildriver. The band has issued the following statement:
We regretfully inform yesterday morning we were denied entry across Canadian borders and will be canceling our appearances on the DevilDriver tour at the following dates: 5/29 Calgary, Alberta 5/30 Edmonton, Alberta 5/31 Regina, Saskatchewan 6/10 Toronto, Ontario We apologize to the fans and promoters of the shows for not being able to be there and promise to come make the dates up when our immigration is straightened out. We WILL still be making our appearance at Heavy MTL in Montreal in August. We appreciate your patience in this frustrating time and will begin working on getting these shows re-booked.
