Ronnie Radke in court for domestic violence charge
In 2012, Falling In Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke was arrested in Glendale, CA following a domestic dispute with his then girlfriend, Sally Watts. Following nearly two years of apparent delays in various legal proceedings, today Radke reportedly pleaded 'no contest' to domestic violence. Here's what Watts had to say:
"Two years ago today, I rented a moving truck and left my abuser. Today, he finally appeared in court to plead no contest to domestic violence. The plea bargain means no jail time will be served, but it doesn't mean he has been found not guilty. He has waived rights to trial by jury. For the record: domestic battery is now officially on Ronnie Radke's criminal record. All things come full circle."UPDATE #1: Radke has since taken Twitter to address his ex-girlfriend's claims:
UPDATE #2: In a statement released to Alternative Press, a representative of Radke's asserts that the charge of domestic violence was dropped:
For the record domestic violence charges were dropped today- don't believe me look it up.— RonnieRadke (@RonnieRadke) May 14, 2014
"There is some misinformation out there. Ronnie did have a court appearance today and the case has been resolved. The domestic violence charge was dismissed. Ronnie plead no contest to a misdemeanor charge of disturbing the peace."
