Chimaira guitarist recovers stolen guitars
You may recall that in January Chimaira had a portion of their gear stolen while on tour in Mexico. Among the items taken were two guitars built specifically for guitarist Emil Werstler. Well, long story short, Werstler just got his guitars back. In a new blog entry, he details a convoluted process that involved a small army of participants, seemingly hundreds of emails and Facebook messages, and a few Spanish translators. PRS Guitars was even involved. It's not quite as exciting as it may sound (for the reader, at least), but perhaps worth a read. In summary, Werstler called the experience "exhausting, insulting, and flat out annoying." Sounds about right.
