KBB Records partners with Caroline Distribution
Official press release: KBB Records, the record label started by Asking Alexandria guitarist Ben Bruce and band co-manager Kyle Borman, have entered into a distribution partnership with Caroline. In the wake of that announcement, the label are announcing the June 17 release of the debut album from Scare Don't Fear, 'From The Ground Up.' The Providence, RI hip-hop/metal band were the first act signed to KBB Records, and will be the label's first release. "Caroline is thrilled to announce our partnership with KBB," says company President Dominic Pandiscia. "We are excited by the opportunity to provide our services support to help realize Kyle and Ben's creative vision." Building on the 30-year history and success of Caroline Distribution, one of the largest independent distribution companies in the United States, Caroline has re-launched as a full-service partner to the independent label and artist community. Prospect Park, Alter Bridge, Slash, and Candlelight Records are just a few of the artists and labels currently working with Caroline, while Caroline Distribution can be credited with helping launch the careers of White Zombie, The Chemical Brothers, Hole, and Smashing Pumpkins. "Coming from an indie background myself, I feel like KBB Records has found the perfect partner in Caroline," says Bruce. "Not only have they been been a part of developing some of the most influential artists in modern rock and metal, but they've also evolved with the times and have proven as big an asset and ally to artists today." "KBB Records is a labor of love for both Ben and I - to see the dream become a reality with a partner as legendary as Caroline only makes it even more amazing," adds Borman. "With our first release set for June 17, and more releases already in the pipeline, 2014 is going to be a great year for the KBB family. This is just the start!"
