In a new interview with Metalkaoz.com, Soulfly frontman Max Cavalera revealed that his new, still unnamed project with Greg Puciato (The Dillinger Escape Plan), Troy Sanders (Mastodon), and Dave Elitch have signed a deal with Nuclear Blast Entertainment for the release of their forthcoming debut.
The band has been in the studio as-of-late with producer Josh Wilbur recording the effort, with vocals roughly halfway done. According to Cavalera, the twelve-song album sounds like a mix of "Soulfly and Mastodon," and a mid-2014 release is planned.
UPDATE: According to Kerrang! magazine, Cavalera and company have settled on Killer Be Killed as the name of their new project.
