Punishment set to record new full-length

Thursday, January 16, 2003 8:28 AM PT

It looks like things are finally getting back on track for Philadelphia hardcore band Punishment. The group had originally announced plans to release a full-length on Thorp Records nearly a year ago, however, due to lineup problems, etc., plans were indefinitely shelved. Punishment is now scheduled to enter the studio next month to record the full-length, still entitled "Broken, But Not Dead." The release will consist of about eight new songs in addition to some re-recorded songs and feature guest vocals from members of American Nothing, Death Threat, and Bad Luck 13. The album should be available in June on Thorp.
