Deserters set to record new EP

Official press release: Deserters will be hitting the studio this weekend with producer Kyle Black (Alpha & Omega, Shai Hulud) to begin recording a new EP titled 'Try To Feel'. When speaking on the follow-up to 2012's 'The Slow Rhythms of a Dead-Beat', guitarist Will O'Bryan stated that 'Try To Feel' represents where the band is at mentally, as a band and individuals. "Realizing that there is nothing left for us in the cities that saw us change from resident to visitor, we wanted to make an EP that could expresses that mindset, sonically," he explained. Adding, "Prepare yourself for the ugliest Deserters record that you've ever heard. No holds barred, honest music by dishonest people." The 6-song EP will be released in early 2014 through Mediaskare Records.

If you're dishonest but the music is honest does that then cancel out the honesty of your shitty music?

Didn't give a shit about their full-length. BAD production. BAD music. Fail Yourself was solid.
