Official press release:

How Do The Animals Live? —a new children's book from C. Spliedt—follows a little girl named Lulu on her imaginary journey as she discovers what it would be like to live like her favorite animals.

You may recognize the author's name - Spliedt was an active member of the hardcore scene throughout the '90s, and into the early 2000s. After roadie-ing for Lifetime for about a year, he started the band Nora with Chris Ross, Carl Severson, and Mike Olender. During his 6+ years as bass-player with the band he recorded 3 EPs and the album Loser's Intuition for Trustkill Records. You may still have a T-Shirt or stickers from back then he designed for bands like The Dillinger Escape Plan, Poison The Well, Burnt By The Sun, and God Forbid. He also designed various album covers for them too. Though laying low from the music world these days, he painted and designed the cover of The Gaslight Anthem's debut album, Sink Or Swim in 2007.

This book is targeted for children 3- 8, it was written with the hope that parents will enjoy reading this fun story to their kids and for kids to enjoy reading it as they learn to read themselves. New to the book scene, Spliedt pulled from his relationship with his step-daughter, LuLu, as inspiration. The book has received 5 Star reviews so far on Amazon.com where you can purchase it. Support this very cool addition to an already awesome dude from our hardcore family.
