Avenged Sevenfold is home taking a break following nearly six months of consistent touring. The group will soon begin writing material for their next full-length. At this point they hope to enter the studio in April, with a release tentatively slated for late-July on Hopeless Records. The song, "Second Heartbeat," which originally appeared on the "Hopelessly Devoted to You, Vol. 4" compilation, will be re-recorded for the new album. In related news, the group will take part in a large New Year's eve show at the San Diego Sports Arena with Pennywise, Face to Face, Strung Out, Good Riddance, Thrice, and others.
