Following tours in the U.S., Europe, and the South Pacific, Throwdown has finally returned home to California. They are currently focusing on completing material for their next full-length, which will be released on an as-of-yet unspecified label. The group plans to enter the studio in January. In related news, the band has officially announced that guitarist Dave Peters will be permanently singing for Throwdown with former frontman Keith Barney playing guitar. For those who didn't know, Peters has been singing for the group since April, when Barney's vocal/throat problems became somewhat serious. Barney has been doing back-up vocals live and will do some as well on the new record. Before they begin recording, look for Throwdown to play a week of shows on the West Coast with Terror, The Promise, A Death For Every Sin, and Death Threat in January.
