Coalesce disbands for good

Friday, December 13, 2002 3:37 PM PT

After reforming over a year ago (following their original break-up in 1999), Coalesce will apparently be quitting for good. Following a few shows earlier this month, the members have reportedly agreed that this was the right time to permanently disband. In particular, drummer James Dewees wants to devote more time to his other projects. Coalesce did write some new material since reforming though, so look for some of that to be made available in the future.
