Facedown Records signs Everything In Slow Motion

Official press release: We're so excited to finally introduce you to Facedown Record's newest family member, Everything In Slow Motion. Conceptualized by Hands' front man Shane Ochsner in early 2012, Everything In Slow Motion has now released a limited edition 7" called Red. Even as a two-song release, Red promises to take the listener on an emotional expedition. Ochsner bares his soul through his lyrics and gives some insight into the new songs here:
"After working on 'Give Me Rest' for Hands, I realized I wasn't ready to throw in the towel yet. Spending most of the writing and recording process alone was the most therapeutic way of working through my issues with my faith. And I realized that as human beings, I think it's our job to be our brothers' keepers, because even with the tiniest effort, you can drastically change the course of another person's life. "The song 'Red' is the most powerful song I think I have ever written. It was written to try to encourage people to be better. The fact that people can be abused, abandoned, and robbed of ever having unconditional love in their life and still grow up to be some of the most loving and kind hearted people blows me away. Everyone out there has a story or a road that was traveled to put them exactly where they are today. We live in a broken world, with broken people. But each of us has the power to restore hope within someone else."
Red is available now as a limited edition 7" and digitally worldwide through iTunes, Amazon MP3 and all other digital accounts. The 7" is an extremely limited pressing of 330 copies, and includes hand-numbered screen printed covers, available exclusively through the Facedown Records online store. All 7" orders will receive an instant download of both songs.

"for today, impending doom, gideon, onward to olympas, shall i go on bro" nah, enough said.

anonymous 10/4/2012 8:54:35 AM

Impending Doom = E1 Music. For Today = Razor & Tie. Gideon and Onward to Olympus are so "popular" that they don't have wikipedia pages. Stop living in the past. "Earache Records is awesome! They used to have Terrorizer and Godflesh!"

anonymous 10/4/2012 9:58:17 AM

facedown definitely is shit now. They never sign anything worth your time. For Today and impending doom were there biggest bands. Now the have nothing.

anonymous 10/4/2012 11:32:13 AM

while i agree most facedown bands are horrible. this new project with the singer of hands is great. no cheesy mosh, a lot of layers and melody. stoked on this release and anything in the future from them. hands is one of the few christian hardcore bands that has some real power behind them.

anonymous 10/4/2012 12:25:11 PM
