Defiler album set for release

Official press release: Northern California metal act Defiler has completed work on their second studio album, Nematocera. The new album is confirmed for release on October 9th via Razor & Tie. The band self-produced the record with mixing duties being handled by Chris "Zeuss" Harris (Suicide Silence, Chelsea Grin, The Acacia Strain). "We literally started recording Nematocera in April 2011. We'd do it in pieces, constantly going back to the studio, adding songs and making sure its 100% how we want it. To finally have something done that I've been working on for two years makes me happier than words can describe," said vocalist Jake Pelzl.
