Los Angeles based hardcore band Strife will travel to Brazil next week to begin recording a new full-length record. The group has enlisted "long time friend" Igor Cavalera (of Sepultura fame) to play drums on the album. The effort is being produced by Terror's Nick Jett (Take Offense, Lionheart) and will be recorded at Mix Nova Studios in Brazil, and completed at Blood Tracks Studio and Sunset Lodge in Los Angeles. Matt Hyde (Hatebreed, Slayer) will be handling the mastering of the release.

Guitarist Andrew Kline comments: "This album is going to be our best release yet… We have been working on preproduction tracks for the last few months, and the songs are amazing… This record is more along the lines of 'In This Defiance,' but with a harder and a little more modern edge… Plus Iggor's drumming is really going to take everything to the next level."

A final release date, label, cover art and additional information will be revealed in the near future.
