Facedown Records signs Leaders

Official press release: Hollister, California-based metal/hardcore crossover Leaders have joined the Facedown Records family. Before going through a line-up and name change in 2011, Leaders shared the stage with Flyleaf, Blindside, and Brian "Head" Welch as AllOrNothing. Now, Leaders are storming onto the hardcore and metal scenes with their powerful debut album Now We Are Free. Comprised of 10 tracks engineered by Zack Ohren at Castle Ultimate Studios (As Blood Runs Black, All Shall Perish, In the Midst of Lions), Now We Are Free blends metal and hardcore influences seamlessly and is a must have album for fans of Hatebreed and Living Sacrifice. Leaders will be taking their live show on the road and will be on tour for all of 2012. The band describes their live shows as "powerful, intimate, and real. With enough character and groove to the rhythm that it makes you want to move." Now, they look forward to touring with a solid line-up and new music. "We love to give it our all when we play shows so that everyone can see the passion we have." Leaders will release Now We Are Free, their debut full-length with Facedown Records on March 27, 2012, but you can hear the first single "Conviction" here.

Hot greasy diarrhea just came squirting out of my tight satan worshiping ass.

Leaders should do a split record with Legend...they could call it "Bands named after the two NCAA Big Ten Divisions"

big_metal_al 1/27/2012 4:43:25 PM

don't even think impending doom is stoked.

In 2012 saying you shared the stage with Flyleaf, Blindside, and Brian "Head" Welch is like saying you tour in your zip code. Irrelevant.

altheeagle 1/28/2012 12:29:48 AM

I would be embarrassed to say I played shows with all those terrible bands. " our next huge show is with disturbed... fck yeah!" TURDS.

Their name obviously doesnt fit them considering they are "followers" of christ.

You can't play a generator stage at cornerstone, and claim you played with the main stage bands. gays.

anonymous 1/28/2012 8:00:00 PM

Seeing all these posts and asking whether anyone actually listened to the song or if they are just bitter cause their bands never made it past playing home shows and went broke in trying to buy crap merch. You would go anonymous! - Ryan

After all the hard work these dudes have put in, they deserve it! Not to mention they are LITERALLY the nicest guys you have ever met. So what if they stayed local? They care about their local scene and want to keep it going. Whether they're religious or not, whether they seem "generic" or "genuine", who cares? Obviously they've done something very right and worked very hard to get where they are, signed to a label. Can you say you did that? I don't think you can.

"You can't play a generator stage at cornerstone, and claim you played with the main stage bands. gays." Wrong festival, but nice try! Play again soon :)

These guys sucked when they were All or Nothing. I made them a legit logo, didn't even say thanks. Jesus would have.
