Not Waving But Drowning troubles
Two members of Not Waving But Drowning have quit the band, leaving the future of the group in doubt. Shortly after drummer Calvin McRoy announced his departure from the group, bassist Jeffrey Meyer also quit the band and has now joined up with Open Hand. There have been rumors of tension causing their defections, but according to a message board post by Meyer, this isn't the case: "Tension in the band? I am not aware of any. Calvin and I have our reasons and Justin [Mank] and Todd [Finoch] both are pretty understandable, although disappointed and upset to say the least." We'll keep you posted.
