San Diego-based brutal death metal/slam band Pathology is completing the mixes for their new album. The effort, produced by Daniel Castleman (As I Lay Dying, Winds of Plague, Impending Doom) at Lambesis Studios, is entitled Awaken To The Suffering, and will be released Sept. 13th, 2011. Once again the band has utilized the talents of Par Olofsson (Immolation, Malevolent Creation) to handle the artwork.
"The recording came out great. This is by far the best thing we have ever done. Everything is extremely heavy and very tight," explains drummer Dave Astor. "It's great working with Par again on this cover. He did an amazing job. We decided to do a pencil sketch cover this time around. We also brought back the evil doctor to continue the zombie havoc."
