Stray From The Path prepares new album

Prior to leaving for their current tour with The Chariot and Cancer Bats, Stray From The Path had been hard at work writing material for their next Sumerian Records release. The group has announced plans to once again record with producer (and Periphery guitarist) Misha Mansoor, with a summer 2011 release expected. Guitar play Tom Williams had the following to say:

"Currently, we have been stuck inside our practice space writing our next record for the summer of 2011. We have four songs done and they sound awesome so far. We don't really go into writing with a specific direction or sound. It's fast, it's (what we like to say) flow-ey, it's hard and it's real. We are loving everything so far and can't wait for everyone to hear it. We will be recording with producer Misha Mansoor once again, which we feel is a perfect fit. His work with us on Make Your Own History is awesome and really guided us to make the best songs."
