Vision Of Disorder set to enter studio

During a recent interview with Horns Up Rocks, Vision Of Disorder frontman Tim Williams revealed that the group will enter the studio in mid-September to record five songs to shop to prospective record labels. The interview includes the following details from Williams: "We're gonna go in and we're only gonna record five songs for now, 'cause we really don't feel like we're in the proper headspace to really push out a whole record, even though we have the proper material to do so. We wanna do five songs and then let our management properly shop the songs. We're not looking for a big deal, but we're looking for the right deal for the band at this junction of our career, and we don't feel like we're in a proper headspace to record 11 or 12 songs at the moment... so we're going in in about three weeks and doing five of our best fucking songs we have and we're gonna shop them out proper. Then later in the fall, probably about Christmas time, we're gonna do a string of shows. "There's no reason why this record should not be out early next year... This is guaranteed because it's got to get done. We just wanna record these songs so we get the right deal in place. And we already have one offer that's dope, and we'll see what happens. Hopefully we'll be recording in the winter, and then it'll be out." You can view the entire interview here.

headspace: a serious concern

jack_handey 8/24/2010 12:24:26 PM

i'm glad that proper marketing is their main concern. translation: these songs are going to huff dong.

Kefka 8/24/2010 12:35:05 PM

Well hopefully they can find that right deal and get in to a proper headspace cause if they don't they will just keep shopping for the right deal and feeling like they aren't in the proper headspace.

I wouldn't mind if it sounded more like From Bliss To Devastation.
