All Else Failed news and notes
Following the conclusion of their tour with the Dillinger Escape Plan earlier this year, All Else Failed has been home resting up and working. Otherwise, they've been working on new material. There is a possibility that the band may be putting out two CDs. At this point, they've written six new tracks, and four more are in the works. Here's what the band has to say about the new material: "The sound is changing, but we're still the same band. We lost 50% of the band since 'Archetype,' so of course the sound will change. We are taking a new approach this time. We have always written different types of songs but we felt 'no way, we're a hardcore band, we can't write more melodic songs.' Well now, we don't care. The new record will be about a 50/50 split of songs like 'Archetype' and songs like 'In Time'." Look for All Else Failed to enter the studio this August to begin recording the material. As for live appearances, the band will be playing select shows this Summer.
