North Carolina band Zero System (featuring members of Glass Casket and Bloodjinn) has changed its name to Vanisher. Additionally, the group plans to release a new full-length in August.
Vocalist/bassist Justin Reich comments: "Our sound and line-up has changed enough to the point where we didn't feel like the same band anymore. We will be keeping some of our older songs the fans love but are very excited on what has been shaping up in the studio these last few months. I think all of our fans will be very happy with what they hear."
A track from the new album, titled "The History of Saints," can be heard here.

Sounds legit. But a new Glass Casket album would be WAY harder.

Oh come on. One less band would have made me excited... not to say Zero System is bad, but you know... too many bands these days. Gotta start weeding out the weak.
