The Demonstration set to record new album

Official press release: North Carolina's The Demonstration are hard at work on their third studio album, the followup to 2008's "Accidents With Intelligence." The band is planning to record the currently untitled album this summer that is tentatively slated for a fall release. "We are currently working on our third full-length record right now and everything is coming together. We've spend quite a bit of time on this record, and have been taking a slightly different approach. Accidents With Intelligence was written in a very short amount of time following our signing with Mediskare. This time around we are taking our time, experimenting with some different styles, tunings, and directions both vocally and musically. The demo we posted yesterday because we just wanted to get something new out there, and we tired of hearing about lady gaga, haha. Jameson and David have been writing music and we have several songs for this new record finished. The demo we posted as a trial has a slightly different feel that what Demonstration fans are used to, but trust us, you can expect the traditional sound elements that you're used to hearing from us threaded throughout this next record as well as some new stuff that you might not expect from us. We are taking our time on this one to give our fans the best album we can that shows our progression from Accidents. Expect some elements that you're used to from us, but also expect a move aggressive, heavy, yet melodically sound record from us in 2010!" Details about the release as far as the engineer the band is choosing to work with, the label the band is choosing to release it with, album title, art and a proposed release date will all be announced soon, along with another demo or two.
