Dan Baird, guitarist for Orange County's Taken, has decided to leave the band. Baird has been accepted to UCLA for graduate school, which will occupy a good portion of the next two years. His last show with the band will on June 1st at the Showcase Theatre in California. Canadian Matt Cleary, a friend of the band's, will be filling in for Baird on Taken's Summer tour, and if all goes well he may join the band permanently. As for the tour, the band will be heading out with This Day Forward from June 18th through July 4th, before continuing with another band until July 14th. Dates should be available soon.
