A sad day for the hardcore community

Many of you have no doubt been hearing bits and pieces of information and/or rumors, so we thought we'd set the record straight. Suffice it to say that everyone here at Lambgoat.com is sad to report the untimely death of Ink Cartridge Funeral's Steven Neale. Steve was killed early Sunday morning (3/17) in a car accident. The accident occured at about 2am in Worcester, MA as the car, carrying five occupants, ran up a sidewalk and crashed into a concrete wall. Tragically, Steve had been sitting in the back seat and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was 23 years old. The other passengers survived the collision, and according to Worcester police, the driver of the vehicle was arrested at the scene and charged with motor vehicle homicide while under the influence of liquor. Prior to joining ICF, Steve was a member of the influential Massachusetts metal group, Barrit. This is obviously a major blow to the entire hardcore world. And although we didn't know Steve personally, when we made Ink Cartridge Funeral's debut CD our "album of the week" less than weeks ago, John Lambgoat promptly received a gracious and thoughtful email from Steve, thanking us for the recognition. That doesn't happen often. By all accounts, he was genuinely a great person, and our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
