Metal Blade Records signs As You Drown

Swedish death metal outfit As You Drown has signed a recording contract with Metal Blade Records. Formed in late-2003, the group was originally called Ethereal. The band comments: "We are proud to announce that we have signed a deal with Metal Blade Records, who will be releasing our debut album this summer! It's an honour for us to join a roster that includes many of our favourite bands, and we intend to make the most of this. When the album is released we will be looking to take this chaos machinery of ours out on the road, so look out for As You Drown in the near future!" The group's Metal Blade debut has already been recorded and will be available in July. In the interim, you can check out a demo track from the band here.
