Atreyu entering the studio next week

Atreyu has been busy writing material and rehearsing for their Victory Records debut, "Suicide Notes and Butterfly Kisses." The band will be leaving on Sunday and heading to New Jersey's Trax East Studios for two weeks of recording with producer Eric Rachel. The new effort will feature ten tracks and is slated for a May 7th release. In related news, the band will also be contributing a track to the upcoming Victory Style 5 record, due out in April. A demo version of the band's track, "A Song for the Optimists," will be appearing on the comp. The same song will also be on the new full-length, but it will be a different version. The band currently has one show scheduled: 4/12 Anaheim CA @ Chain Reaction w/ Darkest Hour, The Crown, Playing Enemy, Spaceboy
