Cave In home from tour, to enter rehearsal

Cave In has returned home from their European tour and plan taking it easy, as far as live shows go, until the end of Spring. In a few weeks the band expects to set up recording gear in their rehearsal space in Los Angeles and begin recording some demos with Rich Costey (Rage Against The Machine, Rival Schools), and according to the band "perhaps accidentally creating some Sacrifice Poles-esque material in the process." In related news, fans should be on the look-out for a 3 song CD sampler that will begin circulating in the U.S. and the UK sometime this Spring. The sampler will include high fidelity demo versions of two new songs that were recorded with Brian McTernan, in a addition to a remix of "Brain Candle", which appeared on the "Jupiter" full-length. In the meantime, the band is considering the idea of releasing an EP of at least five or six brand new songs on Hydra Head Records sometime before the Summer.
