Polar Bear Club signs with Bridge Nine

We first mentioned this nearly a month ago, but Bridge Nine Records has now officially added upstate New York band Polar Bear Club to their roster. Bridge Nine owner Chris Wrenn comments: "We couldn't be more excited to add Polar Bear Club to the family. This was one of the best and easiest decisions we've made and it's a great way to start off 2009. Not only are they an incredible band, but they know who they are and what they want to be-and they fit in perfect perfectly with the way B9 is growing." Formed in 2005, the group previously released an album with Red Leader Records. Bridge Nine will re-release the effort on gatefold vinyl this spring. The band will also enter the studio in April to record a new full-length, which will hit streets in the fall. You can check out the group online here.
