Abominable Iron Sloth album delayed

It looks like the release of The Abominable Iron Sloth's Black Market Activities debut will be available later, rather than sooner. Here's a statement from band mastermind Justin Godfrey: "So I'm a huge asshole. I'm not going to record this new CD until we get back from this US tour in February. The reasons are numerous, but it's been a really bad year for me over all. I think everyone is expecting something from this CD since it's been such a long wait already, and the last thing I want is for it to sound mediocre. I want this CD to be really really heavy. And I just don't feel really really heavy at the moment. I think this tour with Andre on drums will change that, and I think we will sound way better on CD after having played 45 shows than we would now. As Iron Sloth has played 1 show in the last 2 years. So I'm sorry for all the huge delays, but I'm trying to get this band started up again and I want to devote all my time to doing that. It will sound good. I promise."
