Darkest Hour update

Taking a break from working on their next studio album, Darkest Hour will hit the road for a few select dates in December. Joining the band on the outing will be The Red Chord, Through the Eyes of the Dead, Skeletonwitch, and Rose Funeral. Here are the dates: 12/18 Wilmington, NC @ The Soapbox (no TRC) 12/19 Philadelphia, PA @ The Church 12/20 Pompton Lakes, NJ @ Mainstage 12/21 Washington, D.C. 2 9:30 Club Regarding their new record guitarist Mike Schleibaum comments: "We have been traveling between Richmond, VA and Baltimore, MD the past month or so working on the material and couldn't be more stoked. Every Darkest Hour record is an experience to make (to say the least) and this record is no exception. It's been a lot of long hours and long days but the record is beginning to take shape and that is always an amazing thing to see happen. Who knows, [at the] shows in December, we might just play a new song or two!" The new effort will be tracked by Brian McTernan (The Bled, Darkest Hour) and will hit stores in early-2009 via Victory Records.
