Unearth completes new album

Metal quintet Unearth has completed work on their new album. Titled "The March," the record is scheduled to hit stores on October 14th via Metal Blade Records. "The March" was recorded at both Massachusetts' System Recording Studios and Zing Studios with producer Adam Dutkiewicz. The effort is said to feature Unearth's "most dynamic material to date, combining strong tension and release, abundant guitar solos and a bulldozing power-groove." Frontman Trevor Phipps comments: "'The March' symbolizes both the evil and hopeful sides of humanity. The Evil: With the constant balancing act of power within government, religion and our financial institutions, there lies the chance of those most hungry for power to alter and restrict our freedoms for their gain. The Hopeful: This represents the faith in mankind as the most powerful force on the planet. If we come together and do not fight over religion, class and borders then we hold the key to a peaceful world. There are two possible futures in store; either a March of power and greed or a March of a unified human race." The final track listing for "The March" is as follows: 01. My Will Be Done 02. Hail the Shrine 03. Crow Killer 04. Grave of Opportunity 05. We Are Not Anonymous 06. The March 07. Cutman 08. The Chosen 09. Letting Go 10. Truth or Consequence

These days, cowards outnumber the heroes, and the begging souls outweigh the calloused hands of the hardest of workers.

thesouthsucks 7/30/2008 6:58:19 PM

why does every 'bigger' band make the same news post.... "Its our most dynamic, brutal, blah blah blah to date" id like to see a band be honest for once. more of that same shit, rearranged, pretending to be new material. this can only be gay

falling_down 7/30/2008 7:02:47 PM

deep thoughts

haloxxxmoshcore 7/30/2008 7:05:53 PM

lordshredder 7/30/2008 7:30:12 PM

Glad they're working with Adam D again. I love the songs on III, but the production was shit. Unearth rules, everyone hates everything.

chas 7/30/2008 8:04:24 PM

i have no words for this.

ALABOMA 7/30/2008 9:12:55 PM

this just in: Adam D makes another album that sounds exactly like his last one.

eos_emissio 7/30/2008 9:33:42 PM

Yeah they are amazing, glad they are still around.

theoneironaut 7/30/2008 10:05:57 PM

why wont anyone ever come out and say "we got lazy, and really, our fan base will buy anything we put out because its just gonna sound like everything we've ever done anyway"

thetowerofrome 7/30/2008 10:52:29 PM

yeah I'd beat the farm on 'march of power and greed'.

Give Up, Please

stevenzero 7/31/2008 2:44:28 PM

This band hasn't let me down yet. Kind of getting tired of all the metalcore with Adam D. on the boards though.

Shit_Hawk 7/31/2008 3:24:18 PM

So this whole CD is Horse the Band covers?

yougotscanned 7/31/2008 3:46:10 PM

It seems like the solution Trevor Phipps is looking for, so poetically, through "The March"...is LSD. LSD would cure all these problems.

YouGotScanned 7/31/2008 3:52:22 PM

Unearth releases the same exact album for the millionth time, with another album title and tracklisting consisting entirely of the same 20 words that make up the Metalcore Dictionary. The band is just bursting with creativity

bighairyrandomguy 7/31/2008 7:22:22 PM

This band is too predictable, I know they are big and all but seriously, many people have said, it will be just like the others probably, there a talented band, but there music gets to repetitive and boring to me

loki 7/31/2008 10:39:21 PM

stopped caring about this band like 3 years ago. You hear one cd you've heard'em all.

minus 8/1/2008 8:41:57 PM

The fight is endless...

RaidLindisfarne 8/2/2008 4:01:00 PM

Can't wait for Horse the Band to make a press release about how they are so awesome that Unearth couldn't help but copy them.

xmethx 10/16/2008 7:42:40 PM

i think i already knew some of the songs. it sounded like something must die songs. wow get your own fcking music you retards.

xmethx 10/16/2008 7:44:23 PM

oh and yes they are rif for rif. you guy really stole songs from a band you toured with. fcking homo's
